CrossOver 18.1 now supports Visio 2016 on Linux. For macOS users, CrossOver 18.1 contains a number of important bug fixes. CodeWeavers, the main sponsor/contributor to the Wine project, announced the release today of their commercial CrossOver 18.5 software for more easily running Windows games and applications on Linux and macOS. CrossOver 18.5 has been re-based to using the recent stable release of Wine 4.0.

Released yesterday, CrossOver 18.5 is a pretty huge upgrade as it pulls in the Wine 4.0 release (previously it used Wine 3.14) and also FAudio, the XAudio reimplementation for open platforms developed by Ethan Lee who now works with CodeWeavers. Current version is 18.5 and this is 11.3. No problem, but using this means you are using a 7 year old release.
